i'm interested in the 7 port ob with all the engine work . what will you be sell them for?
I will be selling them for $350.00 ready to bolt in to a lower.

Hello Mark, Congratulations on your appointment as the marine engine distributor for the GO engines. I just thought you would like te hear about my GO .21 Pro OB conversion. I used your OB conversion kit that I got for my Novarossi and as you had indicated it needed a slight reduction of the PTO OD and a small change to the bolt patern. It all went together nicely and I've mounted it on a small Lawless leg. See the attached photo of the motor on my Saber F1 tunnel which incidently is running stonger (faster and more reliable) than any other OB powerhead I've tried to date ! I think it's a great engine and the price here is excellent !

Kind regards,

Wennie.

I just had a local guy call me up all excited because he's planning on buying one of the GO marine engines from China. Does anyone know anything about these engines, positive or negative? I'd like to give him as much info as possible so he can make an educated decision. Thanks for the help.

Ron
I liked the .25 I had in a black jack.The .21 7+2 port goes sweet as well.

That is great news Wennie! I have a Go engine, OS lower, Nova carb. with a Cooper pipe. Can't wait for it to hit the water.

Oh and a BIG thanks to Mark.

I do have to say. Im glad Mark is now the US distributor for GO marine engines. Not only is he a stand up guy, but I feel he is much more reliable then the last distributor. Congrats Mark, and you KNOW you will be selling me a couple of these guys and some parts :D

It would be most wise to ensure the bolt pattern works with the Lawless lowers. A LOT of them are being run with the NR's.

any plans for a k&b pto for the go engines? some of us still use (& like) 'em  .
Robbin,

It may happen. But the problem is it makes for a bunch more overhead for me. It takes larger material to make the K&B PTO housing and the PTO shafts are different in length.

John,

Fred (lawlessman) Has OS top plates. They are like less than $10.00 I know my brother has one on his Lawless leg.

Sounds like a good business plan. Keep it simple so you don't lose money.

Mark is a great guy. I would like to share a little about him to all of you on IW.

I'm Marks brother, We as kids grew up around racing full size boats as are father and uncle were into the sport. Our family has always been very competitive in boat racing (APBA).

Mark is a perfectionist, everything he has EVER touched has to be like so. He built a pro 125cc outboard by himself from plans. He didn't stop there as he built the lower unit also.

Some other things Mark has built are mussel loader rifles (black powders). I must say once again the fit and finish is superb on those as-well!

He is a very busy family man with three boys and a wife, who puts up with all of his time spent away from home building cranks, pto's and other jobs for other people. Not to mention his full time job. My hat is off to him, and I wish him the very best at distributing the GO engines!

Mark, Mitch (oldest son) and I have a blast racing RC boats in Minnesota. We talk a lot of SH*T and constantly are harassing each other. :p I hope the time we spend together in the shop and racing NEVER comes to an end.

Thanks Mark, for all you do for me and others in this hobby.

Hey Tim,

This is a nice tribute to your brother and I can tell it comes from the heart! This old world is all about relationships and you, Mark and his family seem to have a great one! I'm not a qualified engineer but I was very impressed with the machining on the OB conversion kit I got from him.

I have three wonderful sons (40, 36 and 33 years young) and we are all also blessed with quality relationships.

Till next time,

Cheers,

Wennie.
