AA 45 in a sport 40 using 50% nitro. What plug to use?

I am using ODonnel blue in my sport40 and using 50%

I use the ODonnel ODO9 in my hydro on 60%

If can get some of the OD Blues use them. If not use the OD 289.

Sam i havent used the OD 289 is there much differance between those and the blues Ken and i both are from Florida

They should be the same. The 289 is the new design plug. They don't make the blues anymore. I bought 100 blues a couple years ago when Amain had a huge black Friday sale. So I'm still running the last of those.

According to Odonnell website the 289 is the replacement plug.

I run the 89 in my scale and it's a great plug. Only burnt up one the whole year.

I'm planning on going as a spectator.Right now my ticker is giving some problems and the doc doesn't want me to drive too far. Only 15 - 20 miles from where I live

to Dover. Like to meet some of you all.

I have run the blues and the OD9 with the AA45 on 65%.. I tend to run a little rich and short pipe,.. the OD9 worked better for me.. the blues will break sooner in my set up,.. Mu motor is stock with I think 0.008-0.010 deck height.. and runs pretty well in a big _ss sport 40 boat!

Go to odonnell's website they can be bought from them directly. Great plug for sport 40, you will be pleased at the results.
