We ran at the D8 NAMBA 2 lap record trials. Lake Waughop. It ran consistant 12-13 second laps not running flat out. I had plenty of throttle left.

MAN! that big gas scale runs GOOD! What prop are you turning in the video?

Here she is. She gets a test run in the morning with the wing installed. Then gets torn down for paint.

Really lookin' good John. If you get tired of running the U-95, you could take the cowl off, flip it upside down and use it as a Kayak with the horizontal wing as a paddle. Have a good run tomorrow. That is a Manly Man size boat. CHEERS !!! Bob

Thanks for the kind words Bob. Yes it is big!! If I get some video I will post it.

Nice cowl John. I sure with I could talk you guys out there doing gas scales to do up a mold. Heck, even if you didnt want to offer the cowlings, I would lay them up!!! Very nice work, cant wait to see the finished product! Keep on truckin! Mike

Thanks Mike. Here is the video of the test run yesterday.

I will add some other video's today of my brothers Miller High Life 1/8 scale and the 2 of them running together.

Nice looking ride John, where did you run at?, what year is your brother's Miller High Life?

Hey John,

Looks to me like it's close enough to paint. Lookin' Good my Friend. And with a driver no less.

I met a boater yesterday at LSMBC race that was talking building a Gas Scale hull. Hummmm. My wife is going to be so pleased - Har, Har !!!

Looks like it was a little chilly there this time of the year. It's raining here today, so I opted to stay away from the race today - I don't do mud wrestling !!! CHEERS !!! Bob

Hey Kevin, We ran on Lake Tapps. His Miller is the 88 U-00.

I have your rookie of the year Trophy and plaque. PM me so I can get this to you. John

Thanks for the video John. It's always fun to go back and watch after the fact. The Miller is all torn down, new wings just about mounted and then it goes to paint. It's a bit heavy but I'm happy with it. Runs pretty good. Nice that we can test at my house. Makes it doable in the cold weather. Short walk to the shop, etc. :) Oh and yes, its the 88 u-00.

You bet. Yes it is convinient. Both boats show great speed and handling. When the Griffon Bud arrives things will get real busy around here. Should be a great upcoming race season. New hullls both Gas and Nitro from both camps.
