Heres a few pictures of the inline boat. In testing it would get to 98 mph and then start blowing the prop out, also if you gave it too much gas too fast, same thing ,resulting in a good dunking for the engine at 15000rpm, easily fixable but the other boat was doing 104 passes consistantly in testing.

Very cool pics,

Congrates to Mike and Lohring, and of course Jeff M of insane boats.

Tom

Care to post pics of props?

Hey Rodney

I have not done any nitro SAW, but I think that motor could get there. We have a couple of guys running them in our club and they are very happy with the performance.

Mike,

Your main competitor (the Paul Firmin) group in San Francisco is sponsoring me to run in the Sport .40 class. I just convinced him to sponsor a friend because we were getting no response to buy these engines. I want to have the engines moded. Who does your engine mods?? Yourself??

There is not much to do really. Tighten the quish 008" on the 45s and 012" on the 90s, you can get away with less than you might think and get the intake drum closing at 65, and try alot of different pipes then I would work on the prop and boat setup, That way you will have something nice and reliable.

You know alot of you nitro guy's are in a panic about gas catcing up to nitro well Andy Brown went 126 MPH with a production rigger, the gas guy's are using popsicle sticks for front sponsons

No hard feelings i have 2 gas boats myself.

all's i'm tring to say is to get a production rigger that can be heat raced with out breaking to go as fast as Andy got his to go could you imagine if that HP were put in a lite weight throw away rigger how fast it would go.

I hope the gas guy's keep on breaking record's and same with nito.

I think there's alot more to come this summer my hats off to all the engine builders and boat desighner's this is a very good start for 2004 B)

And congrats to the guy that ran 121 MPH with nitro. ;)

It would be nice to see some pics of al the gas boats that broke 100 MPH and the guy that went 121 with nitro.

I hope you all have a great summer.

Mike

Andys riggers are the best, for a production rigger.

Matthew at M&D runs one, and he can SAW Trail and then turn around and heat race with it.

Guys,

Yes for the most part Andy's boats are production. I have seen pictures of some of his straightaway boat and the sponsons are different. Also he uses a 45 hull for the 84s, a 21 hull for the 45s etc. Thats not exactly "production" I don't think you'll see him run 126 with a 80/90 SG. Too much weight.

Chris

BTW, I run a SG45 and SGX21, both MAC powered, so I'm not anti Andy, just want to see the facts straight.
