What is being used in gas outboards for steering? Servos? Voltage? Steering rods?

Thank you. So where do I pick up those pushrods for steering.

They are arrows cut to length. So any sporting good store.

Now that's brilliant! So to convert the ends to threaded do you epoxy those metal pieces in? Is that 4-40 or 4mm threaded rod for something that size?

I’m not sure what size they are off hand, I think maybe 6/32.

Gosh, I hate to stick my 2 cents in, but i have been making a setup like that for the gas outboard/servo gearbox steering for about the last 5 years. The kit has solid aluminum rods, (set of 4), 2 joiners, and ball joint fittings for both ends. Infinitely adjustable for length, from a few inches to over 2 feet, and if that's not long enough, I can make longer rods to any length.
