Bob,Your one Hard Working Guy.Just reading all the work youve got done in a weeks time makes ME tired!Henry, I got your two props done yesterday. I work today, but off work tomorrow and will get them mailed.
Hi Bob, here’s a good one for ya. I hav 2 Y6’s, one with a Ron Buck modified Zenoah 260, the other with a Quickdraw Hi Torque 26..I had props for them when I moved to Washingto, but when I moved t took the props off of both boats and put them in a box thet had a whole bunch of other props in it and about a year ago I sold that box of props to Mark Williamson. After I shipped it I realized what i had but it was already too late. These are all sharpened and balanced props. The first prop is a 3014/2 20* .50 prop. It is one of the newer props ABC has come out with. For a long time if you go back ten years the 3014/2 was always a good mono prop. But it needed to be modded to run good on a mono. Back then it was only made in the high lift 10 degree rake. To make a good runner you had to cut back the tongue a little and then do a back cut to get some of the lift out of the prop. This new one is now a 20 degree rake prop. And if you look at the two blade .50 bar props you will see as the rake goes up the tongue gets smaller. Now no need to mod them. The second prop is a 2814/3 choppper. It is also a 15* rake prop. It is the one prop in the ABC line designed for a mono hull boat. The third prop is a modded 2817/2 19* .50 prop. I have done a lot of these props for guys to run on the mono hull gas boats. It is a fast prop. You can see it in one photo next to a VooDoo Tater-XX prop. The Tater has always been a popular mono prop. It is a 7016/3 with barr cuts and round tips. If you look @ this mod 2817 it is like a big Tater-XX prop. But larger diameter and more pitch. The Tater was always good on a 260 but to small for a strong 29.5 modded engine. This mod 2817 is to much for a 260, but makes a great big block prop. Also the 3014 and 2814 chopper props are more for a good modded 260. The 3014 is a $50.00 prop and the chopper and 2817 are $70.00 each props. The USA shipping is $5.00.
