Gas Fuel Oil Ratio"s

Hi guys,

being new to gas , as a nitro boater, what do people normally recommend as a "run in" oil ratio, (25-1, 50-1) and then after that, is there any preferred oil types as well

I've been running 10oz. of good synthetic oil per gallon for many years in modified Zen's and Quickdraw's. Stick with 10oz. and your engines will be happy for a long time. I would highly recommend Honda hp2, Amsoil Dominator, or Klotz super techniplate.

100LL gasoline with 75% synthetic and 25% castor

10oz. per gallon, my sleeper Shell Nautilus 2-cycle oil. Zero carbon build up in the exhaust.

OMHO
