You would have been proud of me!!! There I was, standing in the middle of my work area - surrounded by UK fanatics (they are past being fans), making comments like GO GREEN or GO STATE.. Talk about some dirty looks <_< Wasn't there for the end, but I did watch the ending at a friends house.. Glad they took it! What an ending! Most likely be watching tonight at home.

April 2 in Kalamazoo.... 47 degrees and no ice on the lake... yay! Good start I'd say... Trued up the bottoms on the Wild Thing, the prop project is well underway, Ron Olson brought me some West System from Toledo, and I have a 3.5 tunnel design project I'm really excited over (still at the eyeball engineering stage, but I may enlist some real engineering data...lol) Looks like I'll have something to play with. Now I remember just how expen$ive this hobby is... But I've come to the conclusion you just can't exclude the enjoyable things in life.. I'll just have to keep things in a little better perspective thats all....

I just got home from the Parks and Recreation Department. The woman that I have to talk to is out this week so I should hear something from her next week. I have to wait for her so that I can get the Regatta permit from the DNR office ASAP.

Yes, the water is open! 79 degrees here now and sunny. I'm hoping that we have this kind of weather here for the Fun Run.

The Sport 40 got dropped off today at the paint shop so hopefully I should have that back by the end of the week or the first part of next week.

On another note. I saw my Cardiologist last Tuesday and they may have me in for some minor surgery. I'm hoping right now that it won't interfere with the event might I may need some help with placing the buoys and other things as I may not be able to use my left arm for a while. They're talking about installing a pacemaker or defibrillator in my left shoulder area. I'll know more in a few weeks and keep you updated.

Ron, I could help you out with that. I'm trying to get a friend to go with me. You met him at Lime Lake last summer when we went there to run boats. what time do you want me there to help you out?

I ran the 2 .12 monos yesterday. The Wild Thing with the new O.S. needs a larger prop and a little tweaking on the pipe and it ought to scream.

I posted a video of it this morning on www.rcflix.com . The other .12 mono is on there also. Keywords are WT.12 and .12mono .

What are you hearing from your doctor? If it helps, I can tell you that I've had a defib for about 12 years now and it really hasn't slowed me down at all. Hope everything goes well for you. If you have any questions about it just E-mail me.

I certainly hope that it's etched in stone Don. I'm still waiting for the call from the P&R Dept. but I'll still go ahead and get the DNR regatta permit regardless.

Don, I haven't seen the Cardiologist yet. He's one that's in with my regular Doc. This ought to be fun with him, he got an ass chewing one day from me when I went to the E.R., this was just before I found out that I had gotten an anxiety disorder from a previous heart problem. That's a long story so I won't go into it here.

Once I get the fliers put up in the LHS's, I should have more people showing up. I talked to Jeff from Ace's Videos at the Toledo show, he mnight be showing up but I have to call him a week or 2 ahead of time. He has a couple of boats that he hasn't run in a while.
