Any chance it's getting water in the carb? You did say it was stopping on the bouys.

Also - how does the plug element look after a run?

Nick

You have possibly the best Novarossi engine guy on the planet in your club.

I have watched him try just about everything possible with this engine and I am certain he would be more than happy to help you out .

Do yourself a favour and get in touch with him so that you don't pull out any more hair  ..

Hi Tim you may be right because the boat does stall at the turns, never at the straightaway. The water outlet is at the left side of the engine, looking at it from the back, so maybe at the right turns, the wind blows the water towards the centre of the engine, and goes down the carb. I have to get the outlet at the other side, or at the top the next time that I go to the pond, but I can garrantee you by then I'll have another 10 mods done to something else, all at once. :D The plugs, they look OK and I do pull the element out a bit so they will run better. It has to be some really stupid thing  because the engine sounds really good and everytime I throw the boat in the water, it jumps right out of the water from the tork this engine produces. But I will try the water thing. Thanks Tim
