Nope, got to the stage where I was gonna start applying mold release and then took an angle grinder to it and shaved an inch off the top of the whole hull.No small task rebuilding it,but I wanted to pop the first one out of the mold just the way I wanted it.No big rush here either. (I'll post a few pics but its rough right now ,gloss in a few days)

I like the lower version! Looks good.

So do you have any plans to sell hulls in the future?

Nice! I like the classic look. What hull did that originate from?

...wouldn't mind having one of those...

it originated from many drag boat pics (and a few trips to the boat drags)

as far as selling them, lets wait till there's at least one out of the mold

this is the hull type I am going for

My hull has the same 'runner bottom' shape (should be fast) I have been thinking about using an optical 'anti-blowover' system that would 'look' out the bottom of the hull and override, adjust, the trim tabs.any thoughts or ideas on this?

Looking good, When do you think will get your 1st hull done? I am assuming that this is a plug to make a mold from.

What are you planning to use for an engine?

It will be a week and a half (or two) because I will need to leave the mold on the plug at least 3 days so it cures in exactly the right shape.I'm just about finished with filling the low spots and final smoothing.Motor will be an O.S. Max 81 V-RM.

yes they are.. the flames are gold flake fading into silver flake at the tips with the surrounding area done in red flake, then transparent red(candy apple) over the whole mess.also very fuel proof as its done entirely in resin. :D :D
