Guys the CD (Kenny Carpenter)did see this accident ,,it did not effect any other boats during the heat,,Actually Kenny waited for me to DQ myself as his thoughts and attention were on the rest of the race...When the heat was over i walked off the stand and looked at kenny as hes was looking and me ...Kenny knew what i did as did i just no reason in the middle to create even more distraction to the Cd..

Like mister Twin said above me ,,i want to win by beating you driver to driver...not by a blow over or anything else,,,I'am not perfect by any means..The guys out west have alot of rules that i like very much and iam glad this one made it to the National level..

A CD's job is not easy,I've had to DQ a boat and come to find out it's one of my best friends in this sport..

Proposal #1: Add a new item to Section 18.J - Heat Racing

5. A boat that fails to complete the heat due to the actions of another boat, that

results in the disqualification of the offending boat, will receive 4th place points

(169 points). This rule will be in affect from the beginning of Pit time until the

end of Course time (Race Time). This does not affect the place of finish or

points awarded to other boats finishing the heat.

Interesting rule. What if a boat is running 7th due to some sort of a tuning problem (or hit a bouyee and his rudder kicks back a little)...and a passing boat washes him down killing his engine...he gets 4th place points?? I could see a morally challendged person shutting his boat down if he got a little prop spray in such a situation...just to get 4th place points...

I do see the merit for a person that is running in the top of the points for the race series...leaves him still in the game...
