I ordered finish cure epoxy and got 30 minute slow cure. Can 30 minute slow cure be used for finishing? Will it cure hard like finish cure and work & sand OK?

Yes, I thin with denatured alcohol to an almost water consistency and apply with a foam brush. The foam will begin to swell after a few minutes. You can also use some heat from a blow dryer or heat gun to thin and flow in an un-thinned application such as an engine bay. Practice on some scrap. Just my .02

Ive wondered the same thing. I use 30 minute to seal but will be using finishing epoxy on my next build. either way you go you want to let it soak into the fibers for 10-15 minutes and wipe/scrape off all excess before it dries. the thinning with alcohol or acetone is to help it absorb and penetrate the wood fiber.
