any help greatly appreciated

Charles,

You could run either of those setups (on 12 cells) in the Limited Stock Offshore (LSO) class. The FDM32 will be slower, but more stable in rough/race conditions. KW will be faster but may find wet side up in race. One note, Doug will be allowing 25" to compete for class win, but it would not qualify for NAMBA record as the min length is still 26 right now. the newer Graupner 8.4v or SS1 is the best motor for speeds in this class.

You can also run that FDM 32 in P Offshore. It's a 4 minute race. You probably won't be as fast as some other brushless powered boats, but 700 motors have placed in some very competitive Offshore events. (3rd place in last year's MI Cup.)

It will also be good experience.

Are you sure the KW is 25"? Did you lengthen it? They're about 22" stock.

Come join us anyway Charles. You'll have a blast, learn a lot and meet a lot of people.

Where are you located?

oh i guess it is 22

but im over here in michigan ...

my freind aint too keen on comin out there .... so i guess i wont be making it out there... unless there is someone here that would be kind enough to let me tag along

right now how im set up i get 8 min run time no problem on both boats so makin the heats arent any problem... i might even have a fiago brushless by then so ...

i would really like to make it out
