It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Mike "Chili" Chirillo as District 12's Fast Electric Director.

D12 FE Director

Mike Chirillo

Thanks for taking the position Chili, I know our D12 FE racers are in good hands! :)

Congrats to my bro!! I couldn't think of a better person to fill the role in D.12! :D

Thanks guys. Once again, I want to thank everyone in D12 for welcoming the FE's in last year. You guys are awesome!!!

If anyone in the district ever has any questions, comments or suggestions related to FE boats and/or the combined Nitro/FE rules, please dont hesitate to contact me.

I though we had great competition between nitro and FE boats last year and a very good relationship between drivers. I really want that to continue. We should have more new boat drivers attending more district races in 2011. I'll do my best to try and keep up the great driving tradition that D12 has earned.

Finally, As FE director, I'll do everything in my power to ensure Robin slaps a FE motor on one of his K&B lowers this year!!! :p

Chilli, I think that you will do very well at this position. You have allready helped me greatly with information about what I need and where to get it a good prices. I should have my FE tunnel done by the end of the month at the rate I am going. Just waiting for adapters to mount motor to the lower unit and I have a line on some props and batteries at a good price also. Looking forward to running this class and having some good clean fun!!!! Without gas or nitro that will be easy to do (the clean part anyhow!!!

It will be great also that I now have a boat that I can put in the back of the car that isn't 40+ inches long and weighs 15 pounds!!!

Thanks for the kind words John and thanks for joining in on the fun! It will be interesting to see how many FE's we have running at all the district races this year. Hopefully I have my tunnel's handling issues settled this season. I was a menace to the race course in that thing last season.

BTW- I love my running my gas boat as much the the electrics. I plan on doing a Stock Gas Conquest for John next winter.
