Well, I may have waited too long to get mine out, wanted to know our house in florida was sold before commiting to this.

Well, the house closing was final on Monday, everything is moved to storage in Cumming and it's time to play.

Entry will go out tomorrow, hopefully not too late

Rick

Mine should be there Tommorow or Monday with a check. Now it is time to see if Holiday Inn will let me book a room, hopefully I am not on a "list" somewhere :)

Guys, please consider using the primary race motel, the Lands Inn. We have arranged a special rate with them for the incoming racers that is much cheaper than the normal prevailing rates. We want to fill it up as much as possible to be able to get better rates in the future. Refer to my ORIGINAL RACE THREAD ANNOUNCEMENT (not this one) post # 1 for more information.

As for the entries that have come in, I must wait until I get info from the race registrar before I can post them. Randy will notify me shortly of those that came in yesterday and I will post for all. I expect a large group in the mail each day for today through Monday.

Rick B - send yours in and I am sure you should be taked care of well. We will be as flexible as possible to fit as many in as we can. We must manage the number of heats to keep the race length to a reasonable level.

Just for clarification, what are the rules for LSG Stock Open being run at the Fall Nats?

What type of hulls and what constitutes a stock engine, what brands are allowed?

Thanks, Blaise

Juilan,

Your entry came in, but you tagged it with signature required, and will not be picked up until later today. It is here. The others received yesterday were Mark & Chad Grannis, Olly Douglas, Ross Medina, James Beasley, Tim Jones and Julians to be picked up. I believe that was all but will wait until I get the official list from Randy and I will then post them.

Added entries for Chris Wittrig, Mark Grannis, Chad Grannis, James Beasley, Ross Medina & Tim Jones. We are at the 227 boat mark now with more coming in that we know of. We are looking at closing classes and some will be cancelled. If yours in in the mail or already in todays mail, do not panic. We will work them in. Will keep all informed.

Thanks for making the Fall Nationals a sellout and a huge success!!

Blaise - your question shall be answered shortly. We will be essentially following the D12 guidance for that class and will be inspecting ALL boats in that class at least once.

Hopefully my entry made it there today. 20 hydro,40 hydro, lsg cat, offshore.

Now I just need to finish up these 70 plus hour work weeks so I get some boats running. I am Looking forward to racing at your site again. Who ever brought the rain last year please leave it at home.

Rod Hendricks

Rod & Rick B-

We'll take care of you guys coming in late. There are some open slots in many classes that will be filled until the heat is at capacity and then the class will be closed. Only concern is the scale class, Rick makes 6 and that is what the rule book says we supposed to run in a heat. The 7th one would be a potential problem. It will work itself out. Two months before the race is held.

thanks john i was worried that i would not be able to get in since the boat limit is set. just giving you a heads up my gas outboard is ready James put it together in a days work and He did a great job as ussual i dont want all that effort and time then i get locked out. i hope you can get me in the classes i signed up for cause im ready to race lol. take care i know the event is going to be a great one.

We have now closed the race for any further entries. If yours is in the mail, we will work you in the best we can with the openings as noted in post # 1. If you have not mailed your entry, please do not right now. We are now at 260 boats entered. Once we get the final ones in the mail in a couple of days, we hope to look and open a few limited slots to fill up some heats in some classes. However, wait for the notice before you do anything.

I agree no rain... When the gear came back last year it looked like you guys buried it for safe keeping and then dug it up :)

The list in post # 1 has been update with entries from:

Ray Hotchkin

Dave Daughtrey

Todd Nuzum

Boat count is 277. There may be 1 or 2 entries still in the mail before we closed the race. Will give a few days for them to arrive and get checked. We will then evaluate the need to open up any more slots for select classes or close the race entirely and that is quite likely to happen. We have plenty of boats and classes to run so we will not be hurting in the least.

This is the 5th straight year we have offered the Crackerbox class and it has never had enough to run the class. Actually we have no entries this year, 1 last year, and none the previous 3. Most likely that class is gone for good for this race. We have been asked to run the Sport B (20) hydro class the past 2 years and that may well replace the Crackerbox class. There are boats that will enter that class.

Everyone please check the list to see if all your boats are listed and in the proper classes. Let me know if they are not. They have not been entered into the software program yet so we have plenty of time to get them correct now.

The CMB club thanks all for your incredible support for this race. We know the racing will be excellent and hope the weather this year will be also. After last year's, we are due.

Norm,

Buddy Lowe and Dick Loeb are running Sport B's in the B hydro class. Those are 2 that I know of. We just do not have a Sport B (20) class only for this year's race. That may likely change for next year.

Sorry I read wrong, I thought you were dumping Crackerbox and going with B sport this year.
