The Tactic TTX240 radio in the Aqua Deuce is advertised as having a "Built-in fail safe". There is no mention of how to set the fail safe in the instructions that came with my Deuce, and Tower has not answered the inquiry I sent them a week ago. Does anyone have any idea if the radio actually has a fail safe, and if it does, how to set the fail safe?

Beaver,

this is right from the manual:

Fail-safe: This radio system includes a "fail-safe" function, which will

automatically center (bring to neutral) all servos if the receiver loses signal

communications from the transmitter. When the receiver regains signal it will

automatically resume normal function.

Failsafe is set from the factory.

Dan.

Thanks for the info! Mine was a "Scratch & Ding" special so I didn't receive the manual with that info in them. I guess that's better than no fail safe at all. I usually run a Duratrax failsafe on my other boats with good success.

I see that you are working on a FireFighter 18 w/ OS 18CVR-M. I have two FF18s: one with an OS 18TZ and a second with an Aqua 18 or an OS 18CVR-M. Great boats! Send me a PM if you want to discuss the FF18.
