I got some 6.0 Not what I run but a Good matched set that will be easy to swing. What size water outlet holes does tom have drilled into the heads? Use a drill bit set to check for a index reference point. I would not want anything bigger than 1/16 outlets for your lake & temps for this time of year. You would like to throw in on a good needle & it come in by itself (leaner) about 3 clicks in 3-4 laps. if it goes the other way (rich)? either it is over cooling or the prop load is not enough. The Brown ring on the plugs will tell you what way to go. Dont throw it in (real rich) it will not heat up much this time of year.55-60 percent on .016 or less on the heads would be real close. also make sure you can keep the pipes the same length. A sliding pipe ( going longer) will richen that paticular engine up..... You must hold both pipes the same length. also double check the stinger sizes on both pipes use a drill bit to make them the same. were just getting started..... :D

AMEN to that................TOOK the SMALL BLOCK OUT!!! THE BIG BLOCKS ARE GOING IN!!! :D :D :D  ;)

ha ha. well we do set the barrel valves @ about 65 percent open. & we never push the throttle forward. dont most boats run best & wide open throttle?? Should be some good TWIN racing @ Evansville Hopefully we will get a beautiful weekend of fall weather.

The entry deadline is coming up fast, just a little over two week away. Here are the entries I have, as of yesterday, please review the list and make sure they are correct. There are a few freq conflicts but I am hoping with some more entries they won’t be a problem. I will workout the freq problems after I have all the entries. There some regulars that I have not heard from yet along with some of the members of our club. I know some of you want to see how many pieces you have left after Hobart before you enter, but with Hobart ending on 20th and the deadline being on the 22nd, they might not get here on time. I will be taking entries at Hobart. Also, E Hydro has been added with the promises that enough boats will be entered to make the class.

OK I will have my new Zipp Thunderboat running too.

As Mark said I won't be able to be there for this race, however my old Sightler B mono with the Nova Rossi that stuck to the bottom at Huntsville for a week(I rebuilt the engine) will be there again. That boat has won something just about every time it's been up there,so look for it in lane one.As for the scale ,Mark would have to pry it out of my cold dead hand before it goes to a race without me,though I'm sure he can drive it a heck of a lot better than I can.The Knoxville boats all look fast in practice here, and there is absolutely no question that they plan on havin th pedal to th metal up there.

Sorry your Mother won't let you come out to play.

You will be missed. See you next year.

As of today’s entries we have 96 boats from 35 drivers.

The deadline is Sept 22nd, less than two weeks away.

There are still some regulars I haven’t heard from, how about it Wes and Ken are you coming?

I will post the driver’s list next week after our club meeting.
