We have worked through our issues and this race will go on!
We would like to invite all RC boat enthusiasts to our first of three races. The first race will be held in Carrollton Texas on May 5th,6th, 7th 2023.
This race has been tilted East meets West The Shootout!
We began talking about planning this series in late 2021 as a place where all RC boat enthusiasts can come together to meet and race some of the best racers from across the country.
As we began to plan this race, we needed to make it clear that this race was not about an organization, a district or even a club, it would be about the people that attended. It would be about the comradery and memories made together and making new friends as well as seeing old ones. This race would be for the people and our hobby as a whole!
Once we all understood why, it shifted to who, where and when, this is where Rod De Armond and the Dallas RC Thunderboats entered the picture.
Rod and his members hold some of the largest races in District 7 to include holding the 2018 NAMBA Nationals, so we knew we are good capable hands. Rod and his club have taken care of the who, when and where for us and we can’t THANK them enough.
As you have all been made aware there has been some issues surrounding this race, those issues are in the rear-view mirror now…
We look forward to seeing all in Carrollton Texas!
