Up for sale is an Eagle 45 SGX with hardware in very good condition. It comes with Andy Brown hardware as well as it's fuel tank, servos, and driveshaft. The engine mount is drilled for a CMB 45 HR engine. The cowl and deck lids are carbon fiber. $425 plus shipping. Paypal is good if you pick up the fees or pay as a friend. It’s a good deal but it is a SG. Not a SGX. Main thing to look for is the nose. The SGX nose is much straighter on the top . The SGX booms are spread 6 1/2” front to back when the SG is 6 “. So the fuel tank is longer with more capacity on the SGX. The wings are turned upside down and opposite on the back also. SGX is lower profile also. Jeff Lutz
 
I’ve heard so many iterations on what makes Andy’s boats a SG or a SGX it makes my head spin…. Both hulls run great, I’m just glad to finally have a nice one in .45 size… 😁👍
But now you have heard it from someone who has been to their shop and seen the templates! Hehe. He probably did spread the booms at the end of the SG era because some racers were running out of fuel. Easiest things to look for is the nose and rear wings. Andy started adding the center sponson and later found out he needed more down force in the back and that’s why he flipped the rear wings. SGX were always flipped. With todays ABC props that setup of yours should stay hooked up fine. I still race a SGX 45 but loved my SG in fact it was the first boat I ran over 100 mph with so I’m kinda partial to it. Congrats on your boat
