Do most people put drain holes in the engine bay on their rigger tubs? I have been doing it for a while but I am not sure why? LOL

A radio box tape flap works also. New a guy shot his pickup water straight down under tub for lift.Drain holes are just fine as long as you keep running til you come back to shore!!! Yes I have holes in both of my riggers but one has deflectors/planning pads on the bottom..

The general idea is to not pickup water while racing, the added weight. OMHOI thought that foam core sponsons and foam in the nose worked well as flotation along with air in the radio box. It is still a good idea to let the water out as it keeps the motor dry to keep running.
