Looks like our former friends James Barringer and Adam Piortrowski of TLR are starting a new scam site. I heared through the grapevine that he's starting a new business called Dominator Boats and they are also the new GO Engines US importer. Just thought I would forewarn everyone. I can't imagine that he would be producing anything competitive. I don't think he had anything really competitive with TLR. The rudder assembly for the MV is the only thing I have from TLR and it has fallen apart after maybe five runs. Not to mention Adam, James' partner in crime, told me that he uses trash scrap metal from a local machine shop to build his parts. Just a little forewarning. Maybe he plans to turn over a new leaf, but it's my experience that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Oh boy, this looks like his 3rd shot at trying to come out with a RTR boat.

First was a .45 mono then the Miss Attitude, both which never saw production much past the prototype stages.

Man, This guy just wont quit. Has he not figured out the power of the internet. Every time he starts something new the tales of his horror runs like a wild fire through the message boards. When will he learn??

Wait until Dominator Boats finds out that they're using their name!

I thought that I knew that name fome my bass fishing days as they made a Dale Earnhardt edition boat, back before he hooked up with Bass Pro Shops.

Maybe this is just what we need. A company with a good lawyer to shut this guy down for good.

anybody got the phone # for the original dominator boats...............???????

Don't worry I'm building a case against him as we speak. Since he's read this post he has managed to send me 10 harassing emails and leave threatening messages over the phone. Man does he realize what he's doing to himself? He said my complaint with the BBB is slander. He's a fool. The complaint with the BBB is private. Does he even know what slander is?

 edited so as not to get involved........ lol

Sorry, but a professinal website should not be using the word "cuz". that right there would completely turn me off from them if i didn't know about this forum or their past history from others.

I've said plenty in the past, but I find myself wondering what's the point of some of these posts? I find myself thinking of two old adages:

"If you've got nothing good to say, say nothing at all"

and

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"

If there are some facts to post about a specific business or product, positive or negative, by all means post them. But at what point does providing a heads up about things buyers should know about turn into a senseless free-for-all that is more of a negative reflection on the messenger?
