Some of you might have seen this before but I just used instructions from an online video to manufacture two feet of custom sized masking tape that I needed for a fiddly masking job using only my old saw horse, a g clamp, a sharp safety blade and an off-cut of 3mm ply. Set up is simply clamping the blade onto the plywood (that is on a the flat surface of the saw horse) with a corner of the blade overhanging and then placing a spool of masking tape flat on the surface and against the plywood edge and blade and then rotating for a sharp, even cut. The narrow tape can be removed as required and then more cut if necessary - works like a charm !
