40,60, X-RIGGER, C AND X-MONO...MAYBE SOME OF YOU TAMPA BOYS CAN COME JOIN US

Sad to see that none of the nitro guys came out to the race this weekend. This is one of the reasons why I think nitro is dying out. There were actually spectators and other racers there waiting to see these boats run. Granted the weather was a bit soggy Saturday morning it turned out well on saturday and even better on Sunday. Hopefully there can be a little more consistency in the future.

Tropical storm with 11 " rain had most of the state shutdown !! Lots of coastal flooding , tornadoes and downed trees over on the west coast .

Tom im glad you cleared that up..I love racing boats, but not in a Tropical storm..Me, Jeremy and Albert were just dicussing that this morning..

Miami is one race you dont see many nitro boats many of us didnt make it are taking the year off because of health issues, if you go to any other races you will find alot of nitro boats i dont see nitro dying off in this district, like Tom said who wants to race in a tropical storm also my 2 cents Robert

Robert you are contradicting yourself. But your first sentence made my point clear. I understand that the guys on the west coast were getting a bit more hammered by the weather but there were people running that came down as well. Back to your comment. You stated that there are not a lot of nitro boats that run in Miami but if you go to other races you will see plenty of nitro boats running. Why is that? Then you brought up the point of health reasons which is clearly understandable lastly you said it was the weather. Like I said I can understand the weather up north being an issue but there are quite a few nitro guys down south that never even signed up. That's why I said its not consistant. I would love to get back to running more nitro but there are people that jump in hot and heavy and then they disappear only to re appear and so on.

Come on Curtis step up and buy some big block riggers and monos support us,I am here and would love to race.I would even love to run at the one day races at our club with the nitros. :)

I would love to Jeremy trust me but i don't really want to run more than three classes at a time. Plus I would like to run with more that just three or four people in a class. I started with nitro and will always have the love for it.
