Tom,

Look at the 21 Roadrunner, Blackbird or the Eagle. The JAE looks great but is not out yet in the 21 size. Get a NovaRosssi IB and the 5 port version can be had for about $230. If it is set up as designed all will fly well. Marty can help you greatly getting it going.
I would take a real hard look at the Jaguar III .21 from Bob Ferguson as well. Hey John, wasn't it a Jag III that won the B hydro class at the Charleston Fall Nats? :D I got to look over Buckshot's new twin 101 Jag III hull @ Charleston as he received it from Bob and I have to say the build quality was nothing short of impressive, one of the nicest I've seen since I got my 2 Crapshooter boat kits last winter and THAT is saying alot. B)
I'm with Don on the JagIII. After seeing them run at both the Nats in Seville and Hobart, they are definately 1st class all the way. The workmanship is second to none and support is right up there. Not trying to put down the JAE boats, but you have to be a builder unless you can pay someone to build it for you. May not be so cheap if you're paying for the build. Just an opinion...

RJ

Ron:

I saw Steve Ball's JagIII run very well in Charleston.

I have not seen ANY of the JAE's run yet but you will have to admit that the new oval record was more than impressive. I bet there will be a lot of them racing in the next racing season. Hope so, it would be great to see 20 hydro get a boost in numbers.

I have a shortstroke Nova Rossi that I need to get setup . I set the sqish at .006-,007 as close as I could measure it , it's got a D - J carb and a good pipe just need to get apparent fuel delivery problems sorted and try some props . I also have a double bubble head button for it . It runs great some times and other times won't launch ..weird .

Going to get back to enjoying the hobby more B)

Yes, this is great news.

I too have a brand new .21, and testing begins this weekend. Thanks Marty.

MG
Me too :) Looks like we are going to have one heck of a group in this, the most challenging class, in R/C Boating,to include some VERY accomplished racers.
This is my official call for a spot in the drivers stand to watch all A-Hydro heats next season....

This is gonna be good stuff B)

I think anything outrigger will be fun in Florida next year. I have a feeling we are going to need to stock up on parts.

My " Daily Driver" the Red 80 Twin , ran up on the back of a Jaguar that was losing power in the first turn ..cranked a quick left but tore off the rudder of his boat and the sponson front half of my boat .

I also have a .21 rigger but need some motor help . I think I'm just going to start over with an AA.21 and a scratch built boat of some kind if time permits . These Twins sure do raise your fuel bill !!!!
You are right, BUT the thrill and challenge can not be matched. It is good to see more 21,s. It has become a fast and competative class again. It is good to see Andy getting back in the racing circuit. Doc

I agree. I bought that 21 Jag. Steve Ball won the class. Doc

I would like to know how many people will be running .21 riggers next season?

Thanks Happy Thanksgiving everybody.

Jeremy
If I can locate a boat my son will be running most of the races this year, We made 2 races last year no .21 class at either event.
