"The powers that be do a better job of scheduling/spacing things out next year"? "This years races are bunched way too close together"? I'm getting really tired of those who choose not to be involved in the process early on and/or choose not to attend district meetings then start crying about things later once sanctions are issued and the season is under way. Not going to be PC about this any longer and since the two of you decided to ***** publicly you're going to bear the brunt of it and I'll say it like this- if you don't like it that's too bad, you should have been more involved earlier and maybe you'd know WHY it is laid out like it is. Robin, you want to complain to someone, you can start with "the powers that be" who keep moving the WTC race further up into the spring. We have always tried to be accommodating to our Carolina friends but maybe we should stop doing that. Tell ya what how about I tell Mudbug he has to put his race back earlier for next season like it used to be and say screw the WTC since it's not in D12. And John, maybe I'll tell Delmarva to put their race a week later next year so you all can pay $250-$300 a night for a hotel room (IF you can get one) because of the big boat Regatta that's held up there. And we'll simply have the Capitol club move their race a week later to 4th of July weekend. Sound good to you two???? And BTW- this year's schedule is basically the same as last year so what is up with this complaining now? And "then 2 months off"?? What calendar are you using as after the Centreville race the Delmarva club is right back hosting the annual Gas Bash at the end of July (where it has been since the first one). August has the annual ODMBA race on the same weekend it's been for like 17 years and September we're in Hagerstown as always. For many years we have pretty much kept things laid out to one district race per month as closely as possible working around holidays and such and this is how it works out. Sorry if you don't like it and I'll tell you both if you think you can do it better then as always feel free to sound off and volunteer to take over ......
