A Word of caution from personal experience about sending a donation via PayPay to Dan.
Be very certain you have Dan's email correct exactly as shown above. If you don't, PayPal will default to an email address that is almost identical to Dan's. Make absolutely sure the email address that comes up is correct. When I sent Dan a $1000 deposit last year and this happened to me the guy that owns that email kept my $1000 and would not send it back. PayPal refused to do anything to help me recover my money.
This is why I avoid Paypal. Just don't want this to happen to anyone else...

Don't want to hijack this important thread but to answer your question no, PP would not give me any information and an extensive internet search of the email address turned up nothing. He never responded to any of my subsequent emails. Just another POS in the world I guess...Thanks for asking.
