Nope, this isn't about politics, it's about points. For those in the hunt for one of the coveted D12 high points jackets, and those who just wanna have fun racing, The Baltimore race is shaping up to be THE place to be this year. A few classes have been wrapped up already, some are very close, and one is even tied by two racers who I don't believe have won a high points series yet. To witness the drama unfold, you'll have to go to the Baltimore race!

Yup, the last D12 points race @ Hagerstown, Md. will decide the fate of ELEVEN jacket classes with most being separated by less than 50 points, a couple by less than 10 points and one class is tied! Gonna be some great racing to end the 2009 D12 Championship Points Series. B)

There might even be Father/Daughter winners this year.

Chuck,

Has anyone updated the points? It has not been updated with the last race, so it is hard to know what the standing are.

Thanks,

MTB

I guess it takes them a while to refresh their cached pages. :D Maybe it's time to switch to a real ISP! :p

This is the first time we've this many classes so close in points heading into the final race. As follows-

B hydro- 79 points between first and second

D o/b tunnel- 6 points between first and second

E hydro- TIED!!

F hydro- 200 points between first, second and third

Sport 40- 35 points between first and second

Open Nitro Mono- 106 points between first and second

LSG Mono- 14 points between first and second

LS27 Stock- 7 points between first and second

Four other classes could still be had if those class points leaders do not have a good weekend. Should be some great racing at Greenbriar State Park come the end of the month! B)

I know that I am not in the running for anything this year. Between the Saturdays that I had had to work this summer and the current state of the economy, I will have only made it to 3 of the 5 races this year. Thats ok though, I did get a first place finish in sport hydro at the last race!!! Felt really good too!!!!!

Seriously, I really enjoy racing boats in dist 12. The guys and ladies are great both on and off the pond and the racing is really off the chain. I know these guys have made me a much better driver just running with them.

This is gonna be one of those barnburner of a race so definitely bring your "A" game to this one. There is fuel added to the fire from all the NAMBA dist1 guys coming down with something to prove too,and a 1/8th scale cup up for grabs as a cherry on top............ GET THEM ENTRIES IN SOON .........ASAP !

I hope everyone has a great time in Hagerstown.

I will not be there due to my right hip.

It was supposed to be replaced this week, but the Surgeon had to go on Emergency leave

and i just got the new surgery date of 2 Dec. 2009.

bout the only place i can really get to right now is our lake and that is

very uncomfortable at best.

Robbin is coming down so i can check out his B hydro and hopefully get some more speed out of it for him.

Have fun guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Carl

Carl,

Sorry to hear that. I saw you trying to get around at the race in Chesapeake and knew that something was not right. Hope that you have a speedy recovery once you get the surgery done in Dec.

take care and see ya next year at the races, John Crouch

i can take a look at the bright side for the surgery,

i can now have the ENTIRE Holiday season off from work. WWWOOOOOOOO HHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!

It is a lousy way to get the time off, but what the hell.

I hope i can get Robbins B hydro running well for him this Sunday.

make it go faster than it is going now and tracking straight for him.

Hey Carl,

If it's going at all it's going better than it did at Chesapeake! I launched the boat for him at the OBMBA Race and the 3rd time he said "I'm gonna Rev it Hard and you Throw it as hard as you can!" He did and I did, I threw it about 25 MPH and it slowed down like it had an Anchor tied to it when it hit the water! Of course I'm no help at all to him because I can't get my 20 Rigger to run either!!

Help him out dude! And when you get his running good, I'll send you mine!!!

:D

Wow! I can stir it up even more by questioning the accuracy of the points! I received points for ODMBA in a class that I scratched for the weekend. I'll take what I can get!

Not sure which class, so I'll just zero them all out for you, OK? :p For this race you'll have to chase the trail back to the origin. I got the results from Don
