I ran them when they first came out, I am looking for any photos if anyone has any.
Harold Broussard had a boat similar to the coyote called the Broussard hydro then changed the design and name to Cajun bullet...

Lots of Coyotes in northern Alberta, not uncommon to have them trotting down the street looking for a poodle or cat to snack on!

Wait a minute, we’re talking of boat coyotes - just messing with you, maybe someone has one they would share with you, good luck in your search.
Thanks Greg you funny...lol

I think the Coyote was the first paint job I did out of art school. Airbrushed Wyle E. himself on the cowl. Unfortunately the cowl fell off either after a flip or on it's own (I can't remember) never to be seen again. The boat was inspired by all the show car lowrider schemes highlighted at our nearby Country Fairgrounds. The Coyote was also my first 60 rigger at 12 years old. I remember the famed Jim Whitlach spoke to me for the very first time in my life after he watched a heat that I won.

The Coyotes, Avengers, Cajun Bullet, Cobras all shared the same look,,, of course each had it's own design and small difference's ,, but overall the 80's look is apparent throughout.. Harold's cowl was the easiest to use due to simplicity and I think Harold intended it to be that way.
Hydros in the 80's were made to be heat racers.. swapping paint, rubbing, wrecking and rebuilt easily... You could practically build/ rebuild one overnight.. I know I repaired many of them for friends and myself overnight in hotel room bathtubs with a belt sander and epoxy to make heats the next day. Good times for sure ..

I currently have a new Cajun Bullet twin than I am slowly getting ready .. Not sure what I'm going to power it with yet .. Pair of
Picco 90's.... CMB 90's .... or K90's

So many choices ... :D
Duece's are wild !!
