Cowl fitting/cutting

Hi all,

What is the best way to fit a new cowl that needs to be cut to conform to the hull of a tunnel? I appreciate any help/ideas you all may share! I have a ML Boatworks PX335 and I want to put on the Dumas 7.5 cowl.

I found the best way is to use the center section outline.

I can send you a paper template of the shape.

Then measure back from the nose how ever far you want the front to hang over the leading edge of the center section , align the front of the template to that mark and trace the outline onto the cowl...
