Terry Stu does advise to open up the bowl volume. Picco 45 volumes ranged from 4.3 4.5 total with flat top. Dont know what they advise for nitro content But I woud be trying to set up for 65%
 
My CAM 45's are 0.36cc including the dish, worked well.

I'll try it stock first but I bet the plug goes "black hole" unless theres' a nice cackle at WOT! :wacko:

With the square design, big timing numbers & small head volume it looks like it's gonna be a torque monster! :blink:

Can you explain the balance factor on the spreadsheet?

Are you slugging crank weights?

Yup, very simple, just gives some idea of what the counterbalance is:

The percentage is just the counterbalance divided by the piston/rod/pin weight.

Haven't slugged a crank in years, with rubber mounts they don't seem to shake like they use to. ^_^

David this is a general bowl volume they have used in the black head 45 and the newier blue head
 
Saw Albert's run today in his CF Crapshooter, can't wait 'til the water's soft up north! :)
