CMB out board tunnel shoot out

CARL,  we have entries on the way i talked to john last night via phone to let him know that we are coming.Now someone needs to get jimmy eldlemann down here to run also, after all he is the d-13 district outboard dirctor he needs to be there. also the d-13 district over all dir. will be there even though he dosent run a tunnel.he is also my pit man or caller.

Jimmy e mailed me several weeks ago that he planned on coming. I checked with him twice via e mail in the past week with no answer and no entry yet either. Anyone's guess if he will show. I can guarantee one thing, if he does not register with me as per the requirements on the race flyer, he will not run, even if he shows up on Friday/Saturday unannounced. The pre-registration rules are there for a reason! Follow them or you will not run.

I talked to David tonight. He's changed jobs and can't make the race. Jimmy Shaver has a trip planned and won't be able to make it either.

I have not received anything from Martin yet but if he said he is coming I am sure I can count on it. He has always had fast boats at our races.

I (wife actually) received a call today from Steve Herle (sp?) from Tampa. He has entered 4 classes so he is coming after everyone as well. Really shaping up as the true tunnel championship that we initially envisioned when we came up with the race. All tunnels, no monos, no hydros, no gas, etc. Just tunnel heaven. Shame on those that choose to skip it.

We will be making a new announcement about the race early in the week for all concerned. Watch for it.

i have seen that boat run at our pond (martin)man that thing pops up on the water and is gone!!!! you guys with the 11cc tunnels have got your hands full that's one fast boat!!!

We are taking the handicap by letting him run a piped 11cc against our stock 11cc. He should win....but will he?

He hasn't raced in a while but when he is on his game, ole Martin is smooth on the wheel. Have you ever watched him drive? It hurts my eyes to look at the way he holds his radio. He drives his boat with the wheel facing the track! :blink:

Man...I would run over every boat on the pond if I tried that.

yes i seen that i thought it was weird,but i am left handed also but i learned to use right handed thingslike they were meant to be used. his driving style is differance than any i ever seen.

Yes, go to the race results forum, Bobby posted all the results. C.M.B put on a great race and the weather was great too. Competition was incredible! If you missed this one, you should not miss it agian when they have it next year.
