CMB out board tunnel shoot out

Hey all you Tunnel guys out there I don't know if yall heard or not but the Charlseton modle boaters club is putting on a race just for you. I mean after all this is the OUT BOARD FORUM is'nt it so if you think your little tunnel boat is fast get ahold of Mr James Clegg President of CMB and get entered. They have the absolute finnest tunnel water avaible and you will be racing and rubbing with the likes of Carl Vanhutenof Vans Racing Mike rushing and tally Florida boys Randy Premo and Jeff Whitton. I hear John Brown is going to be there so come on guys get entered and get set to have some fun. You will find the race flyer at the races and results forum here on I waters AND of course they are looking for sponcers also so if your like Mike GRIM RACER and can not make it you can donate to the great raffle they will have. I am telling you if you have .5 a chance to come you need to it's gonna be a great time to be had by all.

<_< I canot believe that there is no one from the out board forum that would not be interrested in racing their tunells in an all TUNELL event. I mean come on guys just think about it. No gas boats NO monos No riggers just us and our totally kick butt tunells There is a god and I bet he drives a tunell. So come on OUT BOARD guys get in touch with James Clegg and lets get it on. I have not seen it but I heard Mark Poole has donated an AWSOME award for the guy or gal that comes from the furthest distance. B)

Rather than get with James Clegg get with me instead. I am getting all of the entries sent to me.

Gator is right. No monos, hydros, riggers, gas boats of any kind to contend with. Just tunnel heaven and 5 rounds of it. Special competitions with awards as well. How many times have you been able to run a tunnel only offshore? Or a tunnel enduro? Fastest lap competition per class? Concourse award just for tunnels? And of course, the ugly dog award! A totally unique event and if supported well we just might do it yearly. It will be totally up to the racers themselves. Just 9 days remaining for entries to come in. 60 boats registered to date. I am sure that there are another 40 out there ready to come in. Come on gang!

Any manufacturer that is serious about their O/B products, should be at this race or sponsor someone to represent their products at this event.

One week to the cut off date. With 60 boats entered as of today this race is approaching the totals hit by races offering all classes, gas & nitro. As usual at the big races the FL boys are leading the ENTRIES even ahead of the host state! Get those entries in!

Manufacturers are being listed and we will list the lower units for the winning boats. If you're not a sponsor someone better win for you or else you're just blowing smoke...

I've been trying James, no luck. I've even talked to Harter a couple times, he may come out of mothballs next year. Hopefully he'll make the 70 min ride to at least spectate at this one. We only have six tunnels sitting over here not racing. :blink:

ok!! twsit my arm!!! i will be there! my entry is on the way.i dont know about steve,sandy and flip?well flip i know has not resigered with impba, david's villan is still in picese after the wreck that he had with sandy's tunnel, i do know he has the parts to fix it but hasn't had the time. so that makes four of us two will be there.

we have entries on the way i talked to john last night via phone to let him know that we are coming.Now someone needs to get jimmy eldlemann down here to run also, after all he is the d-13 district outboard dirctor he needs to be there. also the d-13 district over all dir. will be there even though he dosent run a tunnel.he is also my pit man or caller.

I am trying to get Carl Hinton motivated. He went to a race in Huntsville a few months back but has had back surgery. Maybe he will be feeling good enough to come to the Shootout. We are driving 7 hours one way and he may not be able to make a trip that long just yet.
