Chuck it up in a lathe with a bolt that fits the center & cut 1/4 off the bottom. Then 4/40 tap the rear holes in the ring & Install the cooling head & let it eat. Problem resolved

Lol an o ring would do the job for now I don't have time for working on the stuff at the shop boat runs good the way it is lol . That would simplify things .

ACE Hardware..Dont know the size..just matched them up when I got there..
