I thought I had explained my reasoning why I decided on this boat/engine combo. I pretty much have a pre-school education in this hobby/sport where as you both have doctorate degrees. I have SO MUCH to learn. My long term goal is to race in about 2 years, 2027. I don't know rules, classes etc., but I will learn them, that's the easy part. Tuning, prop selection and other things will take time. For me money is tight but I believe it is wiser to spend the money now on good quality equipment, learn the how's and the why's and have some knowledge going into these races instead of showing up, looking like an idiot and/or ruining someone's boat. I just picked up a 46" twin craft mono and a picco 90 on new years day. I still plan on getting the seaducer and cmb 101 evo. If I want to be competitive in a couple of years, I'll have a boat to do that with...hopefully. I'm pretty sure that is why you don't see any Ford Escorts running in the Daytona 500. Get a CMB anything... The Picco will not last... Put the CMB in the TWINCRAFT.
