Trying to order some crank bearings for a purple head CMB EVO 90 motor, can anyone tell me the size of the bearings?

I have them in stock. Rear bearing is a needle bearing, right? Needle should be 12/19/12, front is 6001. Only have a few of the needle bearings left.

Jon, I honestly have no clue. I have a $50 gift certificate from Boca that im trying to use... I just put brand new bearings in every other motor that I have, except for the CMB 90, which I have never had apart.

The BOCA chart is usually pretty accurate. I think most of the purple head EVO were needle bearing on the carb end. We are talking the early stacked crank EVO like the RS, right? Honestly the CMB motor bearings are confusing. The new EVO are dual BB like the RS. Do you know approximate year of your motor?

Stu may be able to help tell you the sizes. I know that he doesn't stock the needle bearings any more.

Well, now I feel silly. I just discovered the "chart" you speak of on the Boca site. thanks!

Gabe,

Your motor has the needle bearings in the carb end of the crank. They will outlast the motor as long as they are getting cleaned and oiled. I still have a Purple head EVO 1.0  that I bought from Tidewater and it has the original needle bearings. It has had 4-5 new P/L and at least 10 ball bearing replacements and still runs good, just out dated.
