I'll be replacing my aging CMB evo 1 with something. Considering MAC, CMB cam (worried about recent problems, bu appears to be fixed by WIB bearings), CMD EVO 2 and this engine. Leaning towards EVO 2/2 and RS so I won't have to change the boat. These should drip right in my outrigger while the others have a longer flywheel and maybe different mounting holes.

Opinions?

Also, What is gained fron converting a EVO 2/2 to an RS?

Dan ,

The RS is bigger then your evo one so u'll surely have to change your mountings .it won' drip into your hull , that i know for sure .

main diff with the Evo 2/2 is :

diff crankcase , diff crankshaft , disc , bearing instead of needle bearing in the crankcase .

Regards,

Bart
