does anyone know if a cmb 21 inboard can be easily adapted to fit os 21 outboard drive unit

He made my Rossi to O.S. Foot PTO.
How are you doing Winton? The adapter you made for my Mac works flawlessly.

How are you doing Winton? The adapter you made for my Mac works flawlessly.
i do them as well and never had to change out thecranks in the engines.. i use a complete os pto unit and leg and machine the pto housing to the cmb specs of the original and then it is a snap from there..the drive pin fits freely in the drum "driveshaft" and the whold conversion costs about 250.00 including the leg and complete pto unit.. the reason i use them that way is i use os engines in all my stock stuff as well.. may i ask why change the crank out .am i missing something here?

Terry, If you take a inboard engine and convert to outboard the crank need to be change the inboard crank has no drive pin to drive the P.T.O !!!!!!! also they turn the opposite direction counter clockwise to clockwise!!!

sorry i didnt read the inboard part , i just use the ls or rs outboards and it is a firly straight forward swap .. about 1 hour machining time and im done, thank you for the clarification
