Carl (and all) - Please save me a space up front like last year. Thanks.

-Ivan

there is only one space i am going to try and save up in the front area, it is for a new boater and he is

a special needs person.

But will be glad to see everyone that COULD make it to our race this year.

Turn out is in the LOW range as compared to the other years.

I now have the Delmarva heat sheets and need to construct/format the event and season results for posting to IMPBA12.com.

Man, this was a HOT one! Thanks to all of the Capitol guys who toasted in the sun running the races, manning the retrieve boat and moving the races along at a good pace. The Don, Jim Skelton and I had a fun weekend playing with the boats and catching up with old friends.

Thanks for posting the race results so quick, Chris! It would have been nice if the first two District 12 races had been posted in the same timely manner...........they are still "missing in action". Good to see you and Mr. Johnson again. Stay cool........see everyone at the Internats.

Thanks to the Capitol RC Boat Club for putting on such a nice race. We had a wonderful time there. Everyone was nice and very helpful. I met a new "race mate" in the RTR class . . . Andy! (I can't begin to spell your real name.) I wished my boat had not acted up. I'll get you next time mister! :D  Debbie, we sure had some good racin' fun this weekend. I'll see you next time, with a NEW boat that I will be purchasing with the gift certificate I won. My boat is just too small for that novice class. It took a hard lick. Dick had a blast racin' James in D tunnel. We were all talkin' about that race. It was exciting! Kathy, I hope you're not too sore from that spill you took. We'll have your boat ready for the next big race. I know you, JR and Carolyn will be there. Thank you Tracey, Chilli, Robin, Andy, Carl and Tim for all the hard work you guys did. Hope to see you boys at our race down in Chesapeake. Some of the boys will be comin' up from Charleston for that event. It should be a good one. Dick and Carol

Don't forget my man George. :)

Looking foward to the Chesapeake Race!!!

Hi Dick and Carol!

It will be a tight squeeze for me to make it the Chesapeake race... I'll just be getting back from a 10 day trip to California the weekend before (visiting my sister on the Monterey Peninsula and my dad in Folsom Sacramento) but I should be good to go for the race. If you could throw me a lead on any hotels to stay at down there during the race weekend, that would be outstanding!!! It should be a breeze finding the race site...just follow I 95 until I smell chocolate chip cookies!!! :D :D

Glad you guys had a great (but HOT) race weekend!! Sorry I missed out!

Your neighbor with the white (buoy killing) JAE FE from DELMARVA,

Kent

thanx to everyone that made it out to our race, & thanx to all my fellow club members for making it all possible ;) ! had a great time, despite the heat. man, my runoff in b hydro with tim jones is the highlite of my season (so far). my ob sundowner has been getting faster all year, but with chris & jimmy's help this weekend, it was the fastest yet!! never thought i could hold off a good running ib rigger for 4 1/2 laps, but i did, knew i had to own lane 1, or i had no chance. luckily, tim's boat faltered at the start, & i was able to beat him to turn 1. after that, i listened to my pitman (thanx again, chris), & ran prolly the best heat of my life. tim couldn't get around the outside, finally tried to make it by on the inside on the back straight. he couldn't complete the pass in time, ended up hitting the turn 3 entrance bouy. kinda sorry it ended that way, but i wasn't moving over to give him room  .

seemed sort of fitting to me, since that green bouy ate my lunch 3 times this weekend  ..........james beasley had been my pitman in b hydro all weekend, doing an excellent job, he was one of the few that could launch that boat consistently. but chris stepped in & told james that he had this race. thanx to both of you, james for getting my there, & chris for helping me close the deal. see ya'll in chesapeake, CAN'T WAIT !!!!!!

Hi there Robin!
