20231214_131658.jpgBuilding a 50" patrol boat, powered by a homelite 2 cycle watercooled trimmer engine, with engine, radio, gas tank with gas, strut and rudder installed, boat balances at 21.5" from stern. Does this seem correct ? IVe had the boat in the water and it sits flat. THE ONLY PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT IS THAT IT GETS UP ON PLANE.Thx.

That is a super cool project! 21.5" from the stern puts your cg at 43 percent. It'll run but might be a little nose heavy and plow a little too much water.. I would put the cg around 35 percent on that boat which would be 17.5" from stern. JMO. I've never built anything like that.
