How did everyone fair the storm..........

 

I ended up with 6.5" in the rain gauge.........and that was horizontal rain...........I would say........8-10"s easy.........45mph winds......gustes to 60-65.........

dont know how bad it was when it was in Charleston, cause i was on the way back from a race in Virgina, but I still dont have any power....and whole bunch of limbs that are piled up. ~

Hoooooolllllyyyyyy cow! Thats alot of darn rain! Look at it this way... you have an rc pond in your basement! How cool is that!? Haha, hope everybody got through it okay with minimal damage to themselves or property.

Our rainfall total in Mechanicsville, which is just due east of Richmond was almost 14 inches of rain in less than 7 hours. If it wasn't for all the trees I could go run my twin in my backyard right now................

It's still raining here......we have had slow moving thunder storms every day since!!!!

 

Frances has me worried.......I stayed for HUGO in 1989... With all the ground saturation it will be worse....... and she is taking the same path as Hugo !!!

 

I have moved all my farm equipment out in the middle of the biggest feild around me !!!!!!!!

 

I have my camper packed and ready to **** and get.......I'm not staying this time !!!! I'm going as far upstate S.C. as I can go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
