Friends, here are a couple of shots of my new .21 SAW boat. For those that asked, this is the tub that you can see in the background of my recent .12 pics.

This boat was molded by a friend of mine using aerospace prepreg carbon cloth on steel molds. It is CRAZY stiff and strong!!!

I hope to have it done in time to take to Legg in March.

Thanks for all the nice words guys! Allan, I hope I don't have to run a turn fin. Only about half my SAW boats have needed them, and I have other ideas with air traps that may work instead on this one.

TG, you are right, Brian is the best layup guy I know! This boat, however was built by another friend who has developed a way to use the pre-impregnated carbon cloth at his house. He built an oven big enough and hot enough and made heavy duty steel molds. It is really neat to see!
