Hello all, I recently aquired this motor and I was told it was an O&R but I can't find any information about them.I have plans to install it in a large scale boat and I'll be building it around it.It is 18 cc and I'm going to try to post a picture here. Also I'll be needing to know what fuel mix ratio I should use in it. Thank you in advance for your help. Bruce

:( O&R stands for Olson and Rice.

Man that sucker is a dinosaur !! 1970's vintage and @ 14 cc's if I remember right.

Max RPM @ 7 K or so and less than 1/2 HP.

 Don't take this wrong, A Model boat engine? Maybe for a scale tug boat or something slow. A mildly performing sport engine? Not even.

Sorry.

;) Scott

That motor set a speed record at the 1964 impba nats it was clocked at 27.1 mph I just received a bunch of old moldel magazines and a guy used that motor to set the record. In the back of the mag. that motor cost $41.00 dollars.

Hey gang, Thank you for your information on this little motor. I remember the O&R motors from my younger days but they all had points and batterys.I thought this was a much newer motor due to it having a magneto and recoil start. does anyone know where I can get a used motor about this size that I can still get parts for?I guess I'll retire it to my collection of antique motors that just sit there collecting dust and giggles. lol Thanks a lot for your help, Bruce
