The hull measures 36 1/2 x 14 1/2. It had a k&b 11cc on it, I was told back when that it was a Bandit hull but I haven't been able to find any info. I would like to find out who the manufacture is, hull setup and any info would be greatly appeciated.

Thanks

Kevin

some pics of the bottom would help, kevin. but, from what i can see of the side of the sponson, it looks like a htb 360. the cowl is all wrong for his current version. i don't know about older models. check with mark hopper, htbboats on this site. after all, it does say htb on the nose  . just kiddin', hope this helps......

Looks like an older HTB 340 (or 360) to me. He has updated the cowl system/top deck so that the cowl and nose are all one piece.

Send Mark Hooper a PM. He is on here as HTBboats and is who makes them.

Great minds think alike! You just hit the "post" button a little faster than I do. :D

Looks like a Htb 360 early version. I had one just like it. You can use the same set up from the 360 of now.

Well you know it takes a while for that echo to get through still pretty dense up here. [Or froze]

HTB 360 that was run by either Byron Hamilton, Baxter Walton, or Wayne Watley out of Camarillo, CA in the early 2000's in NAMBA 19. Click here to see their old site. You may find that boat on the front page as well as at the top of the photos page. Oh crud, there's a picture of the team and me here as well.

Jimmy had one of those too...

Thanks Chris and everyone else, that is totaly the boat. I just wasn't exactly sure on what I had here but now I know. Thanks again for the info. Just one more thing, is this a decent competitive hull or should I spend my efforts on something more recient.

Kevin

No you do not have too get another boat, unless you want to send to me so I can race it.

I run a 360 HTB and they run really well. Just have to set them up properly thats all. And practice, practice. You will like it a lot.

Richie, do you run a 7.5 or a 11 on yours, when I got this boat it had a piped 11cc on it but is this too much motor for this size of boat? I haven't driven the boat with this motor just yet as I'm redoing the whole thing(It was pretty rough when I got it). I do also have a 7.5 on the shelf that I can use if need be(motors are K& B) . Any suggestions would be a big help!!

Thanks

Kevin

I have 2 360s one with a 45 CMB rs and one with a piped 11 k&B on it. The boat will take either motor just fine.

You should really use a 2" set back motor mount, it really helps a a lot.

I will PM you about a set up.

Kevin,

My name is Jimmy Johnson,My boat was the white/blue one that was in Chris Wittrig's post. I ran 7.5 stock and mod with that one,and ran a different one with the 11cc engines(different c-g point). As Richie stated, the boat can handle the engine and speeds just fine. Be a little careful how hard you throw it into a corner. The 11cc engine weighs in about a full pound heavier that the 7.5's, so it tends to push the boat around a bit. Great boat, I raced against it many times in Ca. If it came with the 11cc on it, the c-g should be good. That boat ran in the low 60's and won alot.

Hope this helps,

Jimmy
