The old lady has no sense of humor just 'cause I saw an add for some boats, replied and then bought them. Mama wasn't pleased to say the least. Well I always wanted a shovelnose and now I have one but I haven't a clue what it is.

It looks like it has been modified as the 'sponsons' at the rear don't look to be part of the design. The lower portion below the deck is wood but the upper portion is molded fiberglass. It is 41 1/2" long and just under 19" wide. It is a little short for a scale and a little large for a sport 40. If anyone recognizes this boat/kit, please enlighten me.

If I am to go any further with it, I will need a few cowl parts and a paint scheme. I've searched the net and it looks a little like a few boats. The Miss Canada, Miss Supertest, or the Miss Thriftway.

Thanks

Wally

Looks to me like a poorly modified Slo-Mo IV, with the added on aft nontrips on both sides. Also, the cowling sides should be parallel and not tapered apart as you move aft. I'm sure Czar can give more details on this

I want to say that is a model of the 1956 Slomo IV, but the bussel should only be on the right side. Everything else looks right to me... I will ask my dad about this tomorrow when I see him, as he would know faaaaar better then myself.
