While I’m waiting to get the paint for the Bud boat, I started on this one New Year’s Day! Can you guess what it is? Yep this is either going to be number 7 or number 8 1/6th scale 8255 hulls that I have built. I’m starting to get a nack for building these hulls!

I love the 8255 design. There's so many paint schemes/graphic for that hull. The first 8255 I built was a 1/10 scale kit from ML Boatworks. I think I've built 4 WOF versions since then.

Here are a few that I have built. The Coors boat was for a friend. Most have been 1/6th but one is an 1/8 scale elec and the one unpainted was a 1/10th scale. I have built 3 or 4 other 1/6th scale boats but I just built the hull and gave them to the owners to finish. The one in the beginning of this thread is for someone else to finish also.

I really like the hull and all mine have run really well and handle really well also.

Nice looking boats. I'm going to be changing one of my WOF 1/10 Scale BOAT to the 1983 Miss Houston, blue and white paint scheme.

I did Executones for a while. Jerry's old Dave Frank 8255 that I rebuilt still holds the NAMBA 1/8 scale and T sport hydro two lap records. I still have a 1/10 scale Executone.
