Ron, Thanks for giving out boarder's a voice to the "Powers that be" at Nova Rossi and making these new outboard power heads available to us all. My engines have been plug and play right out of the box and are the fastest I have ever had bolted to my boats.

THANKS!!!

Joern,

That is a great mix. 15% Lubrication is perfect. That relates to about 19 oz of synthetic and 6 oz of castor per gallon. For the math....

83 oz Nitro

20 oz Methanol

19 oz Synthetic

6 oz Castor

128 oz- 1 Gallon Racing Fuel
Nice to have the same view ;-)

And for the european guys:

1,25 l nitro

3 l Methanol

0,5 l Synthetic

0,25 l Castor

Who gives you 5 liters of 25% nitro mixed fuel

Wow

Wow Carl. Thank you very much!! Yes, I have to thank Glenn Quarles for entrusting me with the opportunity to continue his hard work on building the Novarossi Brand within our boating community, and for the opportunity to work with such a great engine manufacturer. I truly believe they have achieved something no other manufacturer has achieved in our boating hobby. A true "out of the box" competition engine lineup. Open the box, set the head clearance for the fuel you are running, break-in the engine slowly, go win races...

Hats off to Novarossi IT!!!! Three new marine engine lines in three years, (91DD, 67DD, 67 Outboard).

Keen to hear how these 67 OB's are running.

Haven't read or seen anything from users

Any video of these in action?

Brad

There were 4 of these engines running at the Fall Nats in the open tunnel class. We were all there finishing breaking them in on open water. This engine by far is the strongest 67 outboard I have ever run. Running rich it is already faster than it has been the last 4 years with a K&B 67. I am currently running an older 67 big belly Equi pipe with a wide band, (new 67 carbon pipes Jeremy has designed for this engine will start arriving next week). Everyone that saw the progress and performance of the new engine were impressed. I won every heat I finished (3 heats) and ended up 2nd overall as I was washed out on the start of one heat as we were juggling for position. Hopefully someone took some video that can be shared on You Tube of some of the heats. I will see what I can find.

Ron, how many 67`s have you pushed out by now? It will tell us a little about the market for lowers. I guess most of the guys that go 67 will have the 91 as well when it is on the market.

Joern,Novarossi IT and Novarossi Marine USA are private companies, so we are careful not to divulge that information. I will tell you the sales of that engine has doubled our expectations and definitely shows tunnels are coming back in a big way. The market is there for a lower between the size of the gas G and 7.5 lower unit, with a larger cable. That will kick start the F tunnel 91 class and help us run larger props on the 67s.
