Eric has friends who will stand up for him, telling us how great a guy he is. I have NO reason to doubt them, or make a judgment as I have never met him. Mike, the seller however is someone I do know well. He has never given me any reason to believe he is not as honest as the day is long! He sold Eric an engine Eric feels is junk. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of good & junk in this world, & not everyone will agree on condition. BUT, Mike came on here & identified himself as the seller, & offered Eric a full refund, no questions asked. Mike was not called out by name, he chose to come on here & attempt to make this right in public - not the sign of a dishonest person IMHO. Two questions do come to mind......why did Eric choose to start a rant instead of contacting Mike? From what I have been told, Mike contacted Eric about offering a refund, not Eric contacting Mike. Also, why would Eric refuse a refund if he feels the engine is junk/unusable?? Or would he just rather bitch & attract attention? For a beginner reading this, it really doesn't make the hobby look all warm & fuzzy. Why would someone who is such a great asset to the hobby & a hobby shop owner start a public thread like this? Could have been dealt with MUCH better......

As a fairly new guy i have to say the way this whole deal and many others going on right now ( gas nats reg ) this form of racing is the most immature I've ever seen .I've bought and sold stuff on here and never had a issue till now .but after this fiasco im done
