OK, hold the phone, that's not exactly what I said to Tom. I actually told him that NO ONE had entered any open hydro class or even talked to either Gene or I about it. We can run the class if entries call for it, but come on, how do we run a race when no one wants to submit an entry to the people trying to organize it? Entry forms were due over a week ago. The entries are again very disappointing. I guess I'll have plenty of time to CD, as there is only one other boat entered in the THREE classes I run.

Don: I will not be attending your one dayers this year. Sorry about that but I have sold all my sport 40 stuff, my scale was put out of action unless Jack can rebuild it. I am down to my one remaining scale which I need for the two day races and my Thunderboat which you do not run at your races, at least I don't think you do. On top of this I am recovering from a failed eye surgery that has put me out of action got the last two high points races. By the way I have the proposed Scale rule changes ready for you and will get them to you ASAP. Finally congratulations on your fine performance in Atlanta. Sorry I wasn't there to see it. Perry

Perry , I hope your doing better and recovering from the surgery. It sucks to have to sit on the sidelines and watch-I know, Im living it right now for other reasons. Sorry to here about the scale boat- what happened ??
Don . Im darn close on my Sport 40 and WILL be back for at least the last half of the WCRA Series, and will try to provide pond help as I can. Don't give up that class YET !! At very least I will give you someone to lap- :blink:
Gonna try and make it out Sunday- look forward to seeing some of you guys again . Its been a while

You should have enough for open hydro by tonight. And at least one more scale I know of. Maybe combine the sport hydro classes and have fun? I mailed my entries Sat. night so Gene should have them by today.

I just wanted to say thanks to Don, Gene, John and the Brandon boat club for hosting today's event. Chad and I had a fun time. I know it's tough coordinating with so many late entries, but you pulled it off.
