I just put a 4S LiPo on my Sullivan Dynatron. Been running the Sullivan NiCad pack for years. I use it for my helis. It works great 12 to 24V.

I just got a Boris starter that I'm running the same kind of 4S LiPo on. I know 4S is on the upper-end for that starter, but I don't want a bunch of different LiPos around.

I run a 5s Lipo on my sullivan and start .21 outboard all the time and never have a problem. Just pull the plug after dunking and clean out the motor and no problems.

I have been using a 4s lipo on my Sullivan starter for years, I run two 4s lipos and switch between 1 or 2 like 12v & 24v only it is 14.8v and 29.6v. No problems, don't run the starter without a load on it.
