Stan I was at Bills many time & his eyes would lite up when your Dad called most afternoons about 7 - 8 pm. Stan & Bill had about a million conversations about Boats and Boating. I beleive they greatly respected each othe knowledge... B)

You are correct about the respect my father had for Bill. When my dad flew control line is when he first met Bill,he was into SPEED,my father was into Fast Rat,and Fast Combat in those days. When we moved over to RC Boats we ran into Bill again,I think it was 89 Nat's in Slidell La. that was my first Nat's we went to. I raced 40 mono/20 hydro,I won Heat Racing and won my first US1 that yr. with a 20 Low Profile Coyote Hydro. Since that week at the Nat's they have were just like two brother's that you could never seperate from one or the other. One of the many things they had in common,they are not afraid to tell you what they are thinking...



That is one of the things that I love about boating is we all have stories about the people we meet,and race's that we will never forget.
